To ensure your candle burns slowly, at it's best and (most importantly) safely, follow these steps below:

• When lighting for the first time, please burn your candle for a minimum of 3 hours allowing the candle to burn right to the edges of the glass. This will encourage the candle to burn evenly and avoid tunnelling behaviours.
• Avoid burning your candle for any longer than 3-4 hours at a time.
• When the candle is cooled, trim the wick down before the next use to 1/4 inch (5mm).
• Ensure that you burn the candle away from flammable objects and on an even heat resistant surface.
• Never leaving a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of pets and children.

Absolutely! Just ensure you follow these steps to ensure your cushion covers stay as good as new when washing:

• Always wash your covers at a low temperature on a gentle cycle (30 degrees).
• Ensure that you turn the covers inside out when washing and ironing.
• Do not tumble try the covers.
• Never wring the covers dry and always dry flat.
• If ironing ensure that this is done on a low to medium heat.
• Do not bleach the covers.

Candles

Our candles are made using 100% natural coconut and rapeseed wax meaning it provides a clean burn free from preservatives. The wax is also vegan and 100% plant based making it far more sustainable than other candles waxes on the market such as paraffin, soy and beeswax.

Postal Packaging

All of the packaging we use at Elluce is recyclable. We ship your orders in cardboard boxes and use kraft tape and biodegradable packing peanuts to ensure your order arrives to you in one piece, but also has the environment in mind at the same time!

As all of our products are handmade to order we say to allow 7-10 working days for your Elluce order to be dispatched. If you urgently need your order to be dispatched then please use our contact form to let us know and we will do our best to get your order out to you as soon as possible.
